"Google for Education FULL ACCESS"Welcome to Google for Education FULL ACCESS.
Goal of Session: The main goal is for each of you to have an extended period of time to investigate Google and develop a product or proof of concept.
What does Full Access Mean? Full Access means just that -- full access to Google. As a Google Certified Teacher, I have had the opportunity to work with some truly innovative educators and it is with great honor that today gives me the opportunity to share access to some highly innovative educators that are also Google Certified Teachers: their ideas, proof of concepts, resources, and more!
Format: "Search - Learn - Share"
Search
Find a station that has a tool that you wish to explore. Wander to each table, stay at one, or somewhere in between -- the time is for you! I will be at the Google Proof of Concept and Lab Table where we will discuss each of the tools and potential proof of concepts. Please join me! And no worries Moodle users! The Power occurs when Google Apps and Moodle come together to create a multi-dimensional learning space.
Learn
Introduce yourself to the other exploring the same Google Tool. After introductions, explore the virtual station for your tool together and discuss ideas for using the tool in the classroom, for your own learning and enjoyment, and for administrative/office duties. Work collaboratively to learn the tool and develop ways to bring it to your area.
Share
We have a Google Proof of Concept wiki page opened for each of you to add your ideas. Please add your proof of concept by the end of the session, so we build a knowledge network throughout Glenbrook.
Kick back, relax, and start playing! This is your time to explore, stretch, and grow!
